TAE

From Molecular Biology Wiki

TAE is the acronym for Tris-Acetate buffer commonly used as an electrophoresis buffer to separate DNA and RNA.

Applications of TAE Buffer

TAE buffer is known to provide better resolution of DNA and RNA fragments greater than 4 kb. TAE buffer also works better than TBE for supercoiled DNA.

Stock TAE Buffer Solution Preparation

You can prepare 1X TAE buffer from 10X TAE buffer stock solution.
