Applications of MOPS Buffer

MOPS buffer has the following applications:

1. MOPS buffer is used as a running electrophoresis buffer to separate RNA during RNA electrophoresis.

MOPS Buffer Preparation

MOPS Buffer is usually prepared as a 1X solution by diluting 10X MOPS stock solution.

To prepare 1X MOPS buffer, dilute 100mL of 10X MOPS stock into 900mL of Milipore or ddH20.
