10X TAE buffer is a stock solution for TAE.

10X TAE Buffer Preparation

To prepare 10X TAE you need to add the following:

• 0.4 M Tris-base
• 11.4% (v/v) glacial CH3COOH
• 10 mM EDTA (disodium)
• Adjust pH to 7.6 with glacial acetic acid CH3COOH or tris
