Crowns of impacted molars were moved occlusally and distally. RESULTS: All mesially or horizontally mandibular impacted molars were uprighted and brought into occlusion. Mean treatment period was 7.4 months (6 to 12 months). CONCLUSIONS: This orthodontic molar uprighting technique was effective in uprighting and distalizing the impacted molars.
