  • The augmented histamine test in the differential diagnosis between ulcer and cancer of the stomach. Abstract Text:

The maximum gastric acidity has been studied using the augmented histamine test in patients with gastric ulcer, with ulcers in the body of the stomach, with pre-pyloric ulcers, and in patients with gastric carcinoma. The results have not enabled a clear distinction to be made between simple and malignant ulcers.
