OBJECTIVE: To analyse the surgical treatment of 124 cases of epispadias (incomplete 27 cases, complete 21 and complex 76). METHOD: Leadbetter's operation was used for antiincontinence. Urethral tightening was used in 4 cases of complete female epispadias. Penile straightening was adopted for incomplete epispadias and penile lengthening for complete and complex male epispadias. RESULT: In 97 cases of urinary incontinence, complete continence was achieved in 73. CONCLUSION: The orthotherapy effects of external genitals were satisfactory.
