Studies in peculiarities of the DNA secondary structure in barley by means of thermal denaturation and renaturation shows that there are three types of the nucleotide sequences organization in DNA. More than 95% of the genome composition contain distributed repetitive sequences, in one part of the concentration of the repetitive sequences being higher as compared to bulk of them. About 3.5% of DNA is enriched with A-T pairs and contains no repetitive sequences. There is no "unique" part in the barley genome, which is natural for animals. Slowly renaturation sequences repeat 4 times.
