This case report demonstrates subacute luminal narrowing 20 days after balloon angioplasty in the left anterior descending coronary artery due to an intramural hematoma. Stenting was performed and resulted in side-branch compromise caused by squeezing the hematoma from the left anterior descending coronary artery into the left circumflex artery. Another stent was deployed to treat the stenosis in the left circumflex artery. Catheter Cardiovasc Interv 2004;62:461-465. Copyright 2004 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
