Thank you. I so much appreciate the gracious introduction. This is a real honor and an enormous pleasure to be here. But as I was hearing myself introduced, I could see a lot of, to use the biblical term, "hearts hardening" in the audience, saying, "What is he doing here?" And I thought so as well when I was invited to do this. In many ways, I could be considered by many of you to be the enemy. Here I am a therapist. I have spent my life in therapy, obviously passionately interested in prevention and in maintenance of wellness, but have formed most of my career in the area of therapeutics, mostly using very toxic medications that have enormous side effects. Indeed, the whole field of medical oncology is a field that was invented basically to handle the toxicity of our therapies. Most of my career has been built in that regard.
