Immunoglobulins G, M, and A as well as secretory immunoglobulin A (S-IgA), pregnancy-specific beta1-glycoprotein, pregnancy-associated alpha2-glycoprotein, and beta2-microglobulin were analysed in fluid samples which had been taken from ovarian tumours and ovarian cysts. High S-IgA values were established from mucinous tumours and from one endometrioid adenocarcinoma.
