  • [Conditions of inactivation of viruses in water with chlorination] Abstract Text:

Spread within the environment, especially in water, of enteral pathogens has stimulated the greatest interest and raised many problems that have not yet been fully elucidated. Of particular importance is the possibility of inactivating enteroviruses by chlorinating water. The antiviral disinfection of water by chlorination has proved efficient under the conditions mentioned, lowering the incidence of water-borne viral diseases.
