The multipurpose, computer-assisted Quality Care Program was developed to improve the quality of ambulatory medical care, streamline many physician and routine office functions, and enhance provider satisfaction with the medical practice. A unique patient encounter worksheet attached to the medical record at each office visit allows fast and accurate physician interaction with system functions, which include patient and physician reminders, outcomes monitoring, test tracking, patient education and communication, and practice assistance and analysis. The content of the system can be customized and edited, which allows for individualization by each medical practice.
