Protein Ubiquitination Protocols. Ubiquitin (Ub) is a conserved 76 amino acid protein found in all eukaryotic cells. Ub is covalently ligated to a variety of intracellular proteins through an isopeptide linkage. Ubiquitination has been implicated in the regulation of diverse cellular processes, such as selective protein breakdown, cell cycle regulation, and stress response. Protocols for ubiquitination include Deubiquitinating Enzyme assays, ubiquitin assays.
