Why do my dogs ears go back....?
 
When ever i go to pet him? And if you think its submission can you tell me what it means please and thank you=]

It is important to look at the dog's whole body and not just the mouth or tail before . A wolf or dog will show active submission by drawing back his lips and ears and them is friendly, or it is not sure what is going on or what is expected .The dogs, on the other hand, would know just what to do the lead dog eats first.They hold their ears back and the hair on their back may stand on end.

I know for sure that my German shepherd have ears back only in case when it obeys the master, me specifically. It listens to all commands attentively and it is a way to show dog's ыгиьшыышщт штвуувю
