I didn't specify that I need to extract the greatest quantity of blood possible because I want to extract the RNA from the sample of blood, I usually kill the fish and I use adult fish.

I have an other question: to avoid that blood coagulates, where do you putthe sample after the extraction?
I tried to use the haparin, but this anticoagulant stop the polymerase activity and I need to use the sample of blood to extract RNA and make PCR...
