Default Yeast stop to grow after galactose induction

Hi, my problem is as follows:

I grow my yeast(EG103, Gal+, with CFP-YFP construct in p414GALL vector,
low-copy vector with mild induction with galactose, TRP
marker)overnight at 30C in minimal media containing 2% raffinose and
AA-TRP. After 14h, they have an OD of 0.6. Then I split and dilute
these culture (to OD 0.1) with a) minimal media containing 2% raffinose
and AA-TRP. These cells grow and b) dilution with minimal media
containing 2% raffinose + 1% galactose and AA-TRP. These cells stop to
grow although the cells without galactose grow normal.

Do have any ideas why the cells stop to grow after the addition of
galactose? Even if the CFP-YFP construct is expressed, there shouldn't
be any toxicity of these construct. And the cells grow on plates
containing glucose and galactose, but not on plates containing
raffinose and galactose (always 2% of the sugar). Or do they grow very
very slow so that overnight the OD changes from 0.2 to 0.4??

Do you have any experience with this problem??
