G418 selection problems

Hi there,

I'm having a problem with my constructs: I have selected
pombe constructs on G418 YES plates (100ug/ml). When I pick these
colonies (I've picked many) and culture them in YES liquid broth with
G418 (also 100ug/ml), the cells just don't grow, even after I've left
them in the incubator for 3 days. What could be the problem?
