Default low-temperature SDS-PAGE

I'm trying to find monomers and dimers with the western blot technique, and in the literature I found that you should do this with low-temperature SDS-PAGE on a 6% gel. What are the best conditions for the proces?

- No mercaptoethanol and no boiling
- elektroforesis @ 4 degrees celsius

But are there any other conditions which should be changed?

For example, running with something different then 100V? Ampere's different?

Thnx!
