 E. coli and S. aureus Western Blot I'l be performing a western blot on bacterial samples after inducing a heat shock response. Any suggestions as to proteins I can target with antibodies for loading controls (internal controls)? I've come across Sortaste transpeptidase for S. aureus. Furthermore (I'm new to proteomics) is a bradford assay entirely necessary prior to western blot? Regards, - tyler  |
