Default nice tight and dark non specific band



I've been trying to blot AMPK a1 & a2 for a little while.
my blots have not been a success: multi band mostly ...
lately it looks better... but only until you look for molecular weight.
Yes, I get a nice tight and dark band, but quite a bit too high (90-100), and identical between my WT and KO.
Meanwhile, I get a pale band only with WT at 63kDa , this must be AMPKa1.
What might be happening at 90-100 kDa? as my blots show les bands, that weird intruder band is getting darker?
