Default Sample Buffer

Anyone can explains regarding to the kind of sample buffer? Are there any expire date for using it?

I used two kind sample buffer, NuPAGE-Invitrogen and Sample Buffer Solution (2MF+)(x4)-Wako. When I used the last thing, the Western Blot results showed the curved bands results

Do anyone have suggest for me?

Regards,

Anom

Default Re: Sample Buffer

Hello Abel,

the best buffer i ever used was home made laemmli buffer. Very smelly but the best. read more about it here:
http://www.molecularstation.com/wiki/Laemmli_buffer

even includes a buffer recipe.

I guess your Wako sample buffer had weird salt or pH causing the migration curving. Also make sure to load sample buffer into all (even empty wells) to prevent curving.

Thanks anyway for your suggest. I consider at your opinion about pH and salinity (because this wako is about 4 years old in my lab).

Regards,
Abel
