| I am trying to quantify the membrane expression of a heterologously expressed protein in CHO cells. All cell surface proteins are biotinylated, pulled down and then analyzed by Western Blot. Does anyone have an idea what I could use as a loading control? Standard controls like actin, tubulin or GAPDH won't work, because the proteins need to be at least partially on the extracellular side to get biotinylated. |

| I routinely use Na/K ATPase antibody (sc21712) as a loading control for membrane fractions. I think cadherin or integrins could be other alternatives. |
