Invitrogen and stripping

Why is it that you can not strip Invitrogen NC blots? Which manufacturer offers the best NC to yield good stripping characteristics?

Hi...did you try to strip membrane? Maybe it works! You can try different stripping buffers...
I use Hybond P+ membrane, Amersham, and it works good for 2-3 strippings. Why don't you try to use pvdf membrane? Sometimes I use Hybond N+ Amersham...

Thanks Mara, I did try to strip the Invitrogen NC blots and did not get any results. I then looked at Invitrogen literature and saw a note that did not recommend stripping of their NC membranes. I now use Biorad and now get good stripping of their membrane.
