| Does anyone know if using plasmid DNA dissolved in TE buffer will interfere with transfection of HEK293 cells using PEI? I know that the EDTA in the buffer can inhibit transfection with cationic lipid methods but am uncertain of its effects on transfection with PEI. Our lab usually uses plasmid dissolved in ddH2O, but TE buffer seems to be better for storage of DNA. Thanks!! |

| Just FYI (in case others encounter this same question), transfection with DNA in TE seems to work fine. |
