 choosing a method for stable transfection Hi, I wanted to get a stable transfection in some tumor cells. I was recommended to take the lentiviral system but I dont know how I can clone my gene of interest into such one. DoI have to take a special vector or does it work with some additional lentiviral packing plasmids???  |

| Re: choosing a method for stable transfection If you can transfect your cells with regular plasmids, do it. Less work and easier to handle. Test with a GFP construct and see if get >5% transfection yield, if yes, go for it. |
