Default Splitting transfected cells ?

I am transfecting HepG2 cells with lipofectamine, it takes 72 hours before testing for the expression of GFP for instance, do I subculture the cells within these 72 hours or change the medium or I just leave the cells till the 72 hours end ?

Thankss

Hello,
I have worked with HepG2 cells before. I wouldnt subculture them unless you have a stable transfection.

Usually we transfected them at 70% confluency so in 3 days they may get crowded. How crowded are they now?
