| EmCell Clinic is a private medical center founded in 1994. In all these years, we treated thousands of patients from 69 countries and performed more than 6,000 transplantations of fetal stem cells. The treatment methods developed and used in the clinic helped to save and prolong our patients' lives, restore different organs and tissues and achieve positive results in treating diseases and conditions that were considered incurable. We were first in the world to extend the range of diseases for which stem cell treatment is indicated and to develop our own treatment protocols for such diseases as AIDS/HIV, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, etc. At present, EmCell is a team of professionals performing fetal stem cell treatment and working out indications and contraindications for the treatment of severe acquired and genetic diseases caused by or resulting in cell count reduction. All fetal stem cell treatment methods used at the Clinic are its property. They are patent-protected in various countries. The Clinic currently holds 16 patents granted by the USA, the Netherlands, Greece, Russia and Ukraine. EmCell Clinic has achieved international recognition in the field of research and clinical application of fetal stem cells. Our achievements are marked by a large number of diplomas of international medical congresses and conferences. Moreover, in its program aired on November 17, 2005, BBC called our facility the Last Hope Clinic because we treated and followed-up the most complex clinical cases. Still, the most precious award for EmCell Clinic is success in treatment of our patients and their words of gratitude. |

| The California Institute of Regenerative Medicine recently put out a nice video of Dr. Jeanne Loring explaining the dangers of stem cell tourism: [Only registered users see links. ] "Organizations outside the United States have begun advertising stem cell-based cures for disease, and in increasing numbers Americans are traveling to receive these cures. Unfortunately, at this time none of those advertised therapies have been shown to be either safe or effective. Researchers such as Jeanne Loring, director of the Center for Regenerative Medicine at the Scripps Research Institute, worry that people could be harmed through the untested procedures that they receive when they embark on stem cell tourism." |
