On one side you have the people who say killing an embryo is wrong but letting the person who is sick, die.

On the other side you have the people who want to save the sick person but do not care about the embryo.

Moral dilemma anyone?
Super Kitteh: Think about it, you outlaw stem cell research....what ever happened to that embryo they decided NOT to make in the first place? Did it live a full life?

Your argument is it isn't a moral dilemma but you've just basically murdered two people without even caring.

Nope, nobody will ever win.
It's an empty arguement.

I love people more than I'll ever love some embryo.

Stem cell research isn't about killing anyone. The research that can be gained and lives that cold be saved from stem cell research can benefit everyone.

the side arguing for the stem cell research can win, simply because no matter how long we put it off, there will inevitably be some kind of concession made.

personally, whilst i understand where the other side are coming from, i support stem cell research. an embryo does not think or feel, it is not aware of its own existence. you're 'killing' a potential person, not a person with potential. whilst this is regrettable, the number of potential sacrifices made is minute compared with the number of lives that could be saves if and when a breakthrough is made on this research.
