Can Stem Cells Lengthen Telomeres...?

I hear that possibly drugs can be introduced to lengthen telomeres.
But, can stem cells be sent in to keep the actual chomosome from aging itself?.

Re: Can Stem Cells Lengthen Telomeres...?

Not possible. Telomere lengthening requires the cells themselves to have the enzyme in an active form within itself. Stem cells are not able to influence other cells to have the acitve enzyme. Besides, even the stem cells themselves have a limited time when the enzyme is active.
