Every living organism that differentiates during development has stem cells! Or else the cells COULDN'T differentiate! Stem cells can change into any other type of cell (liver cell, brain cell, skin cell) except ( I think) gametes. Even after development, stem cells are still needed, and can be found in the bodies. And my prediction is "yes", just about every organism will have stem cells. They already do!

of course! stem cells are the precursors of any differentiated cell...any particular organ or tissue. this stage is normal in the course of embryogenesis and takes place in all animals.
