Question Sub-Culturing Mesenchymal stem cells

Hi
I have observed that it is hard to sub-culture Mesenchymal stem cells that i isolated from mice. Actually it usually take about 5 min to detach HeLa Cells or other cancerous cell lines by trypsin treatment but MSC take much more time to detach, so it is some other method to detach them or there is some modified procedure for this??

regards
aftab

Dear Aftab,

U could try something called the "Accutase", I believe it's very similar to the neutral protease that's getting more and more popular these days. u could leave the cells in it for a long time with virtually no damage to the cells.
