how to test the components of golgi-plasma membrane pathway involved?b
 

Hi all,
I'm pretty new in the cell-signaling field so I need help.
I have determined that my chemical downregulates the fully glycosylated membrane version of a receptor, but not the partially glycosylated precursor (which is apparently in the Golgi, a speculation based on a few papers).

How do I attempt to investigate the actual components of the pathway involved?
I work with a mammalian system, non-immortal cells. There are a couple of cell models but the pathway may not be identical.

Please, any idea will help
