Dear friend, I had the same kind of problem few months back but later i could figure it out...I had been using tris-Cl for buffer preparation instead of tris free base...I think your Gel pics show me the exact diffused anomalous pattern as mine...TrisCl, Trizma etc results in high concentration of salts giving such weird gels....Good luck  |

| Re: SDS-PAGE Problems: I'm getting desperate! Not sure if I made this clear before, but I am certain that the problem I had was that my I wasn't letting my stacking gel set for long enough. I usually wait 30 minutes or more now and haven't had a single problem since. |
