 Re: SDS Boiling of Samples Any Alternative Methods? Hi All, I am having absolutely no high molecular bands in 1D SDS gels from my leaf + roots samples (leaf and root tissues are in the same tube and protein is extracted as a whole), whereas just the leaf samples give me good high molecular bands. Does anyone know why is it? Is it because roots have more proteases or is there anyother reason for the disappearing of the HMW bands from the leaf + root samples?? plssss help !!!!!!!!!!!!!  |

| Re: SDS Boiling of Samples Any Alternative Methods? You can also check out the Bio-rad or Invitrogen systems on their websites. To my knowledge boiling is not used in their protocols for the 1-D electrophoresis. |
