Default Pipet in Chemical Laboratories

Pipet is laboratory tool used in chemical labs to transfer a measured volume of solution. It is marked with the measurements to specify the volume of liquid in it. Especially this tool is used in analytical chemistry, medical tests. There are different types available for various usages.

Pipet tool is invented by a chemist made of graduated glass tube. In early stages, pipet use to be similar to the modern burette which is used to dispense liquid accurately. These pipets where not adequate to measure very small volume of solution, hence invented the modern or micro pipet by Warren Gilson an American doctor. He invented the pipet to do research in molecular biology field with a piston driven to suck and drain solution. Hence these pipets are registered trademarks of Gilson around the world.
