The correct answer is C. Bacteria make certain vitamins.
They also break down complex carbohydrates, so that we humans can extract more energy from our food.

I agree with this opinion,some of the bacterias are helpful to our system,some are not,I'm not a professional,it's about keeping balance in the system,not all good ,or all bad.
