Jump to bioinformatics or stay in bank?

Hi guys,it is my first time to come here. Currently I'm working in a bank with a low level in Singapore. But now I have an offer an institute doing bioinformatics. This position focuses on protein structure prediction, but it's also project-based. When the project ends, the position will be closed. So can anybody tell me, how is the comparision between banking and bioinformatics? By the way, I only hold a master degree with statistics and mathematics. Thank you!

I want to say BANK! or you could ask whether they can contract to you as side job. But it all depend on you, never know maybe you get to meet with somebody in institute who can give you another job. But you will still be jumping from one project to another...

Or you can focus on your current job and earn big there.

Hi, thanks! I know that the income given by the bank is more competitive, and working there is more comfortable, but I feel that the biology industry has a better prospect rather than the finance always fluctuating. A painful choise

I'd be doubtful that banking is more stable that biotech. Aside from a few large companies, most biotech companies tend to be quite transient - being either bought out or going broke within 5-10 years of being founded.
