Default James Cook University?

Hello. First of all I'm sorry if this is not the right place to ask but at this point I'm pretty desperate and this website is the only active science-y related forum I could find.

Is James Cook University a well-known university in the Zoology world? It's in Australia and I'm planning to study zoology (first for a degree then upwards from there) and I've heard great things about it.

Really, I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask.
