 why is it so difficult to find a postdoc position in plant science aera Hi, all I will graduate soon and I did reearch in plant science during my PhD study, now I am seeking a position fit for postdoc in this area. However, I found it was very difficult to find one. I have two papers, one was published on New Phytologist and the other one will be on BMC plant Bio soon. Is there anyone who can help me? | Re: why is it so difficult to find a postdoc position in plant science aera Try searching for labs receiving grant money from the USDA. Some medical schools have nutrition research centers (supported by the Dept of Ag) that do mostly plant research. Also from what I hear, there is also decent amount of research in aquatic plant life--for these the funding goes to Depts of Oceanography at big state research universities. |
