RNAi and Prokaryotes

Hi

is the Mechanism of RNAi discovered in prokaryotes or not?
and second thing
is it possible that we block or downregulate some gene in prokaryotes by Antisense oligonucleotide method.

Hey Aftab,

good question. I dont think that they have as much regulation as mammalian cells but I may be wrong...
