| Hello.. I need to know how to check for the integrity of mRNA. I recently have ordered Poly(A) RNA Of normal human bladder tissue & it has been brought to us (overseas) on wet ice. So I just need to make sure that this RNA is really intact.. How can i do so? |

| Gel electrophoresis can tell you if you have a strong band at the expected mass. Detecting a population of cleavage products would be more difficult, but the lack of a lower-molecular-mass smear following your strong expected band would suggest that you don't have very much degraded sequence. |
