{help} RNA degrade
 

RNA was extracted about 10 months ago. I kept them at -80 C freezer.

now, i do my realtime PCR using those RNA. I confuse, the Ct value >35 cycle

my RNA was degrade? how could we check?

check the RNA quality on acrylamide gel.

You can also try to amplify a housekeeping gene/transcript.
