 Running RNA Gels I want to run some RNA on a gel... do i need those denaturing agents for RNA? i read you need to denature the RNA first to get a proper size reading vs an RNA ladder... please post some responses   |

 Re: Running RNA Gels For checking Rna integrity (unlike for Northern blot), I always run "normal" (as for dna and pcr products) 1% agarose gel, and I also use DNA loading buffer. It gives nice 28 and 18S bands (well, not always  but that's not due to electrophoresis...). Anybody else is doing that? |
