Default rRNA and PolyA tail


Does anyone can help?
I dont understand that why 18S rRNA primers can amplify the first-strand cDNA that synthesized using RACE32 as primer and total RNA as template.
RACE32 contains OligodT plus linker. Does 18S rRNA gene contain PolyA tail?
