What are the base pairing rules for RNA?
I have a test i in my biology class and i dont know this one.
Just to review:
DNA base pairings are A-T, T-A, C-G and G-C. RNA has 3 out of 4 (G, C and A) of these bases, but does not have T (thymine), but has Uracil (U) instead. Uracil acts very much like T and binds to A like T does in DNA
....so the only change in pairing is instead of A-T or T-A its A-U, U-A, the other pairings (G-C and C-G) stay exactly the same.
