DNA is inside the nucleus of a cell. RNA is inside, outside, or around the nucleus of a cell.

DNA is a strand of nucleotides that are in the nucleus. DNA contains genes, which are sections of DNA that code for proteins.RNA is a strand of nucleotiedes that are copied from DNA, like a mirror image. The RNA takes the code to ribosomes, which make proteins from the RNA sequence combined with amino acids.

DNA mainly works in nucleus of cells and cellular organelles while RNA works in cytoplasm in the different forms of RNA.
