 Larger Recombinant Protein Size than Expected? Hi all, I have expressed a drosophila protein in a Sf-9 insect cell line using the Baculovirus-system. I did a western blot and I expected to see a protein-band of 29 kDa however I only see bands at 33 and 31 kDa. What is causing these bands and why arent they 29kDa? any ideas? i double checked all the sequences etc and the clones seem fine... What other possibilities could there be?         |
