Software for ABI Prism 7000 SDS

Greetings fellow Science Geeks:

I'm pleased to have located this resource, and am excited to have a place to interact with others regarding science, science equipment, protocols, and perhaps even statistical analysis.

What brings me here is a recent auction acquisition, specifically an ABI Prism 7000 SDS, RT-PCR machine. Though we got a good deal on the instrument, the PC that it came with has been wiped clean, and the software is no longer on the PC. In addition to this, the unit doesn't seem to have come with the original software CD.

After checking ABI's site, the software can be downloaded if I have an existing CD, which I don't.

Is there a potential work around for this? Is there somewhere I can download the software--other than ABI? Is there another software, perhaps freeware that can be used to run this particular instrument? I'm open to any and all suggestions here, and am genuinely hoping that I can get this machine up and running.
