Internally quencher

the BHQ molecular can be added at a modified "T" residue which is located from 6-15 nucleotide of probe of 5' end as quencher, recently I did compare with internally quenceher at differnet lication, it looks like it is beeter to add location close to 5', I even added it at 7 position, but worked well, did anyone get similiar experience, could you please share your success.
thanks! ,
