Dichloroacetate or DCA

Greetings fellow researchers,
I was wondering if any of you has ever used Dichloroacetate in cell culture, in order to inhibit pyruvate kinase, or to reverse the Warburg effect. So far from my literature search I have concluded that you cannot add more that 30μg/ml, as the bile acid will prove toxic for the cells and increase cellular necrosis. Also, concentrations vary from 2-10 μg/ml in order to arrest the Warburg effect, or limit the production of lactate.
If anyone out there can share some insight, I would b more that grateful.
